Not only has the venue been changed to Marriott Johannesburg, Melrose Arch, Fabulous Woman Awards committee have just revealed the 2022 Fabulous Woman Trophy sculpture, which they named Amahle-meaning “beautiful” in IsiZulu.
“The sculpture is a magnificent masterpiece and a real show-stopper. A beautiful woman in all her strength and vulnerability ready to serve her communities.” said Pontsho Manzi, Founder and CEO of Fabulous Woman Awards.
According to the sculpture’s designer Anton Smit, herewith a poem he wrote for the sculpture:
Loveliness needs not the
foreign aid of adornment
but is when unadorned,
adorned the most.
A part of us that exists
outside of time
There’s many a blessing
that could come from above
if only we knew how
to give love.
We hope this beautiful sculpture will remind all change leaders to continue to serve their communities with love, passion and excellence.
